The Chinese alternative CCTV product

It was announced by the US first.  No CCTV to installed in Govt. facilities where the products are sourced or associated with certin Chinese companies and brands.  To be more precised...the NDAA says the following:

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) restricts the use, procurement, or sale of certain brands of surveillance equipment for federal agencies. Federal agencies are prohibited from purchasing equipment from these brands, but they can’t do business with contractors that use surveillance technology from backlisted products.

The NDAA specifically bans security camera brands, including Dahua, Hikvision, and Huawei. The ban also includes any brands that may function under or as part of these companies, including brands affiliated with these companies.

IVsec is wholly Australian owned and operated.  They manufacturer and sell NDAA complaint CCTV cameras and NVRs.  This means that they are US Govt. approved.  However this also means they are Australiakn Govt. approved.   The Australian Govt. recently followed the US and UK route by banning all Hikvision and Dahua equipment from being installed into their facilities.  This created a gap in the market for quality cost effective CCTV solutions.
